I would not doubt that

I would not doubt that Chicago Times (one of the cities with the strictest gun control laws around) would have no idea what a sling swivel is! With their 'new' definition, they can ban my .54 cal muzzle loader!

There is nothing that would come out of chicago that would suprise me. I have to find a liberal who could even remotely describe what an assault weapon is. WSP's like AOL, now run any stroy they can to promote the anti-gun agenda. It is amazing to me how freely and quickly people are to give up a constitutional right, I remend them how easy it would be for the government to take more of them once they have our guns.

I just read the BBC article you linked to. Are they serious? Whats next? Banning rocks? UK doctors post pictures of the horrific damage caused by rocks, also citing the number of deaths caused by large rocks striking heads, plus the fact that stones are a preferred method of executions in Middle Eastern countrys. Parliament proposes that all stones will now be in a state controlled repository and only be allowed outside when legially used in construction and imbedded in concrete according to state specifications

Knife Ban

I could see that happening here, then they would do stories on how someone straw purchased a knife.
