the target J frame..

besides the other stuff i said i did NOT do fast DA on this one.. the groups measure and i think you can see it 3" SA, and 6.5 DA... this is still pretty hot for a little J frame.. but NOT off hand..

Time for one of the range before i miss much of 24...by the way this is (as you can see) the bottom of a 30 pack..(yep had a couple of group tightners... for reference the total size of the target is (just measured it) 7.5X11.5 ... So as i said about the size of the old 'B' targets K zone.

Told the troops before i put this up, but if your just looking at the picture this info is missing and important.. This was NOT from the off hand position.. I'm a shooter, two decades of qualifying with the dept. and shot PPC and Bowling pins, but sure not capable of doing this off hand with an airweight.. I had made this clear before i posted the pic, but want this on here for those who missed the discussion.. When i got to the range my back was bugging me so i did this from a seated and braced position.. same thing i use for long distance hand gun shooting, lean back against the tire.. brace the piece between the knees and its about as stable as a bench rest.. The other target i posted last week from the K frame (19) was off hand, and the double action was pretty fast.. both the single and double action on this target were slow and deliberate, and while a full 15 yds... NOT from the off hand position..
