'Tattoo' charged after shooting at cops

A Lincoln man who shot at Lincoln police last week is being held on $1 million bond after being charged with attempted first degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm, according to the Lincoln Courier.
Michael Knuth, 32, whose nickname is Tattoo, was shot by police in the Central Illinois community after he fired a handgun at officers July 21. He had been hospitalized for a week before being taken into custody Sunday.
The Bloomington Pantagraph said that Knuth had also been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
