This teacher/parent would rather have his child killed than protect the students with guns.

This teacher/parent would rather have his child killed than protect the students with guns.

I am apalled that any parent would rather have a child killed than protect them. This is what teaches our children. This jackass must be fired and his children removed from him as he is a menace...

I AM a math teacher at Brockton High School, the site of a school shooting earlier this month.
Current school security procedures lock down school populations in the event of armed assault. Some advocate abandoning this practice as it holds everyone in place, allowing a shooter easily to find victims.
An alternative to lockdown is immediate exodus via announcement. Although this removes potential hostages and makes it nearly impossible for the shooter to acquire preselected targets, it unfairly rewards resourceful children who move to safety off-site more shrewdly and efficiently than others.
Schools should level playing fields, not intrinsically reward those more resourceful. A level barrel is fair to all fish.
Some propose overturning laws that made schools gun-free zones even for teachers who may be licensed to securely carry concealed firearms elsewhere. They argue that barring licensed-carry only ensures a defenseless, target-rich environment.
But as a progressive, I would sooner lay my child to rest than succumb to the belief that the use of a gun for self-defense is somehow not in itself a gun crime.

Where is this comment from? I hate to just take a copy and paste as the truth, where did you get it from?

Guess im not "progressive" enough.. what a joke. Im with Pkato, glad you verified that Sam, it almost sounds like an internet prank.
I also heard a wise comment i'll share with all today; Fox was on break so i scroll down to msnbc (i know) anyway a news reader says "where were the air marshals durring the detroit crisis".. shesssh.. the typical give responsibility over to others thing.. How in the world would anyone with an iq higher than par golf think that an AM would be able to stop a T from pressing send on a cell phone, even if he was sitting next to the guy he wouldn't have been able to stop the explosion.
Since im ranting.. our ex gov. Jannet Napalatano's comment "the system worked" is as lame as anthing a bueracrates has said in awhile, doesn't matter if it was taken slightly out of context, how could you string those words together is beyond me.. And (this will be the last) have you all noticed that the PC people have avoided any mention of this being done on Christmas.. Two issues, one it was a Christmas mirracle, and of course it was picked by the muslims for that reason.. Why has that not been said?

a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.

And SamD, not that we don't believe you, but it's way better (in my humble opinion) to show everyone that stuff like this was really written/said and post where, why, when, etc...thanks though.

I'm telling you, AZ is calling. Although we're now thinking of retiring back to Missouri. Goddamn my wife and her need to be close to family. Although houses that would go for close to 300,000 here go for about 170-180,000 around Hannibal. Then again, I have no idea what I'd do for a living in MO.

I'm counting the years

untill I can move. My daughter is sped so until she graduates it would be hard plus my in-laws live with me and they won't move and the wife has to be near them so she wont move and the housing and job market so I'm stuck here for a few more years but leaving is the only sunshine I can look forward to.

134k a year, sam

For International Police Advisors. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, you need 5 years law enforcement experience and military police experience doesn't count, even if it does include training Iraqi Police. Kills me. Billy Bob from the two officer Bumfuck, AL Police Dpartment can get a contract for 134k a year, but a multi-tour OIF vet with extensive experience in training the IP, as well as a decent arabic vocabulary, doesn't qualify.

If you can speak Arabic somewhat and with military background, you will get in somewhere for sure...check with Fluor, Dyncorp, some KBR jobs still available, plus SOC and Triple Canopy...many jobs available man. You should be good to go. It is true about the trainers though. With my job (Security Clearance required), pay is a bit less than you quoted, but I do have 26 year retirement pay a lot of shitheads. (and sheet heads)

I'm Taco Bell Man. I can eat a chalupa in a single bite. I can stand in line for 30 minutes only to have the order fucked up, and still come back again the next day. And I can do it over and over again.
