There have been recent tragedies which have resulted in the cessation of
three industries and the loss of tens-of-thousands of jobs:
1, A 2-seat Cessna 150 aircraft crashed into a local cemetary in
Calabassas. Over 180 bodies were found at the scene. Because of the number
of deceased discovered at the scene of the crash ALL aircraft have been
grounded for six-months when, it is hoped, a cause will be known.
2. A lone fisherman in a canoe on Lake Gotnofish fell into the lake on
Sunday and perished. Because there is no known cause for his death all
boating and shipping in the US will be stopped for six-months when, it is
hoped, a cause will be known.
3. An single oil rig blew up in the Gulf of Mexico resulting in the
discharge of several millions of gallons of oil. Because there is no known
cause for this natural disaster, which also caused the deaths of 11 workers,
ALL off-shore drilling will cease for six-months when it is hoped, a cause
will be known. It has been reported that at least two oil rigs have now
been relocated to other parts of the world rather than be left to stand idle
and costing their owners millions. Those rigs will NOT be returning to the
Gulf in the near future, and possibly for YEARS. An estimated 150,000
oil-related jobs will be lost immediately if this embargo is continued.
Prior to the accident this oil rig had been closely monitored by the Federal
Government and had passed recent safety inspections. Venezuela, Mexico, and
other contries have continued to drill in the Gulf.
