I'll Take First Watch!
you've got better eyes than I
She has a shottie, a thong and tattoos.....Not a tattoo of a thong you moron....lol
that pic was'nt up!!!,,,,but now that it is......she's purdy
always blames his 'tool'.......s....s....s!!...LOL!
Wow... i know bit embarrassing huh.. hmm, anyway is that an old Dodge Plymouth (sp) or what.. To further my tarnished image.. never seen a stock like that before.. We looking at an 870 wingmaster or what..
sheesh my tools not broke, just rusty..
now you got me looking at the car....that chrome strip has me baffled,i'd say 52-54??? ha.
like a Nash Metropolitan, but I wouldn't swear to it.....see what you done!!!.....lol
you guys are getting old, for what its worth so some youngster doesn't think it "fell off" that little crease below the right cheek is way "purty" as pard says..
I was thinking its a 56 they had that chrome molding on the hood, but it looks a bit to "squared off" or something.. Not sure but don't think thats a metropolitan. Dated a gal that had one down in Tucson in my wild youth..
We don't talk a lot about past gals, but this is cool, and if i don't tell you guys i know i'll forget (looking around to make sure Glorias not close, shes NOT crazy about my tramp past) I was shopping for a tat on the phone, called this place "skin art saloon" (could still be in bussiness for all i know were talking like 25+ years ago but who knows) anyway gal answers, i ride by the next day and get the tat..
Her name was Shelly, and she had an old Nash metropolitan, all the kitchen appliances were restored straight out of 1950's turquoise or rose, can't remember.. Also had a couple BIG birds.. WAY cool (really looking for Gloria now) but didn't get serous enough to even get free ink..
You could make a whole Toyota out that hood right greg!!
Used to race one in late model stock cars. A little 325" Hemi, Carter WFD, 3 spd tranny.
dick is broke and my wife is asleep, see you Monkeys in the AM!....And we will see if the site is somewhat user friendly in the morning....lol
the scary clown avatar? Halloween was last month!!! Happy birthday good buddy.........10/10 and on the side!
Sam what type of carb is a WFD.. missing it.. thought i was close on the year, was this "pre" hurst or did you do your shifting on the colume.. i still remember those flat palmed up and forward shifts from 1st to 2nd, then that bang straight down into high..
gonna do a little Bob Hope.."thanks for the memorys" See ya all in the am..
all Chrysler products. Originally on the column, but put on the floor with floor shifter, this was pre Hurst so I think it was a Lee's Speed Shop in Oakland, Ca part.
does anyone remember what AFB stands for?
If I had to guess I would say it was a 56 Desoto....
pretty sure it is aluminum four barrel?
It's something 4 brl.
not barrel......Never the obvious..lol
Carter made the WFD & later the AFB which I can build in my sleep. I have never worked on a Holly, don't like them. Carters could be had up to an 1100.
With jet & spring kits, you could completely tune them forever what you wanted to do.
temperamental, ill mannered beasts. Simple jet changes result in gas all over a hot engine. Thats why Lumpy is sporting dual 625 AFB's, much easier to tune.
or is that to, no maybe too.. When does Schuyler get back again..were not at war yet so guessing he's kept a low profile so far huh..
I always heard them called four barrel.. and of course they were.. the linkage arangement would open two at a time and man on those old one when you opened up the other two barrels.. seems most of the secondary barrels were toward the aft end of the unit, but have seen some on the left side as well.. anyway when the other two barrels kicked in you could feel it..and sure thought AFB was aluminum four barrel
Hamp has all those new pistolas on the brain. ;)
tuning manual that states the AFB as "aluminum four bore", I will look for it when I get home, it surprised me as well, always thought it was barrel.
Hate to miss it 3 days in a row. I could stand to skip a meal...
guys im thinking till we get a post section we might id what thread were talking about, your thoughts on this.. (cept pard who is now dreaming of beaver ok, how ya doing skippy, awake)
on the bbl /bore thing, i bet your right, i can see where the tech term is bore and the common is bbl.. we've all seen that sorta thing a lot so guessing it is bore..
