I have talked about my walther P22's, and realized i didn't get a pic up.. Sams gona give me a hard time about the focus stuff again, but least its a pic.. Sorry i only have the one out, thats why i put both boxes, if you blow it up you can read there both P-22's with the 3.5 bbl. (actually 3.4something, metric deal). The other ones in the wifes vehicle.
J&G had the CZ's on sale, and i got two of them as thier a short carbine, and perfect for women and kids, Turns out i love the heck outa mine, and bought another 10 round mag for it.
These are just sweet shooting rifles, and great for when the kids come up.. The walther started out as mine, and Gloria decided she liked it after we carried it thru Idaho on our trip, so i picked up one for her as well. They have an adjustable grip back so it fits her pretty well.. Like most 22 autos thier a bit fussy about not liking lead. so i shoot the cheap stuff in the rifles..

CW..sorry i couldnt respond..it takes me forever to download stuff.. Guys CW and i were bitching about being cheap and shooting 22's so much, and thought id show you guys a couple of mine.. know ive mentioned the walthers dont think ive talked about the little CZ's.. I love those little carbines.. Funny we always talk about our large bore stuff, but im guessing you guys are like me and enjoy 22's as well.. Ive got a little freedom arms and a couple of H&R's i like to but these four are the ones we shoot the most..

And i sure hope we can do the project grease.. Im still excited about it!! Let me know what he says..
Guys you've heard me talk about J&G's .. serious Christians and do a nation wide bussines, they advertise in SGN, and have really great prices.. I don't (cant afford) buy many new guns anymore.. Do trades, gunshows, and used from mom&pop shops. But when we first retired, and with the range so close i thought id get a couple of 22's so Gloria (and the kids visiting) could go out with me.. Turns out i shoot them as much as she does.. and the thing with the CZ's is there made for you guys with kids, (or wifes) they have a real short pull (ill measure later, i need to get off pretty quick).. Thier just a perfect size little carbine.. they have a single shot insert or the ten round mag. the single shot of course makes them perfect for kids, and telling you that they can punch one hole groups at 25 yds with a cheap scope.. This has been like 4 years ago, but i only paid 119 bucks each, and thier quality..
See ya all tomorrow..

i just dont care for the Remington 22 ammo.it is dirty.my son shoots in 4H Jr Rifle League competition, for him I supply Federal Champion target ammo.In the 22's that I shoot I prefer either the same federal ammo or CCI Velocitor ammo.the CCI is a bit hotter than most so I use it for "critter work" and when I am falling behind in a match situation.I also use the Velocitor in my 22 pistols both revolver and auto guns.

guess I need to check it but I've never
had a problem with it

I bought a Ruger 10/22 from my Son-in-Law, it looks kinda like 30 carbin. Got rid of the 10 part, and kicked it up to a 25 rounder : ) Has an an ajustable scope on it.
Greasy, I buy Super-X; Remington GoldenBullets; or CCI ammo all LR. Had a hand gun,and a Marlin semi-auto that hated lead, so I started buying better rounds. I havent had any Remington problems, but shoot mostly CCI Mini Mags.
I bought a brick of Hiawathas, they had so damn much wax on them, spent caseings wouldn't eject out cylendar,( the WHEEL) : ) I had a couple of 50 round boxes on the dash of my truck, the wax melted and they all stuck togeather.
This happened back in the early 70's. Since then I have bought better ammo and Copper coats don't leave lead deposits.
I went back and read more of the posts, I bought 550 Remington Golden LR, HP for $17.00 at Walmart.
Charles, that is a high price, $33.00 if you buy 550 rounds. Look for the 550 Value Pack, they come in a box in a plastic bag, bulk.

I was looking for a post to hijack, figured id pick mine.. So what do you guys think about the events at the white house last night.. Im thinking Netanyahu has used the yiddish word "schwartzer" once are twice this morning.. On one hand its laughable, and on the other so very sad..
Well we DID have one nation we could count on in the middle east

Obviously not comparing the two rifles above to hi dollar pistols.. That however is the point.. these were seriously cheap little carbines.. If i remember i gave more for one Walther than the pair of carbines.
their about the sweetest bolt action .22's i've ever had, and perfect fit and finish.. NOT what i expected for the price.. fun and cheap to shoot..
HampsterW
I carry a Walther PPS in 9mm on a daily basis, it is one of the finest handguns that I have ever carried, the only FTF etc, that I have ever experienced is due to a bad primer in a batch of Federal ammo.........
HampsterW
I still think Walther makes a fine product. rifle or pistol.

if you remember i got one for Gloria as well, hers has never had a misfeed, as i learned on mine that only yellow jackets, and stingers need apply...
I'm honestly not sure if that's 100% accurate, but will tell you that i initially was shooting some army rounds.. (Runs, you remember the PX in SV and the cheap white box 22 ammo) that did a lot of FTF.
These were lead rounds and im thinking also they have a bit less "umph", The neat thing about these (besides the fact brother got them for me for free) was they say 22 ball ammo..
Not sure how this can be as while they are lead they have the typical elongated nose..
