One of the entries for 1956 shows Frank Robinson & Luis Aparicio being voted Rookie of the Year. My dad & I used to travel to Ft. Worth, TX to see Luis Aparicio play shortstop for the Ft. Worth Cats of the Texas League (Class AAA). Good God he was good!

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).
