Here's only 3 out of a huge auction being held in Sulphur Springs Arkansas tomorrow. Judging by the picture because I've not seen the gun in person, the 1908 should go for roughly $500, a waste of my time going but Mrs Daisy said "Ya never can tell". Okay, I'm going.

Why did I look at this when I know I can't have it! Damn!

early yesterday. Shaved, dressed, had breakfast and asked Mrs. Daisy if she was ready to go.
"No".
She said she did not feel well. We skipped auction and church both.
Really, I think she just did not want to have to bid in the auction. She'd never done it before and was worried. Maybe like the first time I opened a mic and did a radio show.
She sat in her chair looking all icky until about noon when it was absolutely too late.
For me, to try and keep up with the bids is impossible, had to have her hearing to know what the bids are. 1908 Colts just don't show up at auction often at all, dammit.
Save your hearing.
On the up side, I made a killer pot of beef stew. She started it by putting water, beef chunks, CHOPPED (never use chopped onion in beef stew) onion, salt and pepper into the slow cooker. I took the beef out, dredged it in flour and browned it, peeled and quartered carrots, potatoes and onions. Added spices and put it to simmering, thickened it just b4 it was done. Umm Yummy!
Dang happy I caught it before she got too far along, it would have turned out to be beef soup, yuck.
