19th century ambulance

I like this pic Sytasyn_syn. Actually a 2nd generation of ambulance. There is no telling how far back the travois goes. The Indians used them as soon as they got horses and in some ways even before (the women pulled them). I suspect that some form of the travois goes back to before Christ for transporting crippled, lame and injured persons.
