twin SW .38s

twin SW .38s

Twin S&W .38 Specials.

The plain-jane model (right) is mine, a hammerless SW 642 ankle gun. The only thing I did was change to a pair of nice soft Hogue boot grips.

The other is a SW 637. I had it built as my wife's first concealed carry gun. The trigger and hammer have been smoothed, polished and reduced. The smith also did a great trigger job, and installed an XS Big Dot front sight. She uses the larger Hogue full grip on hers.

Both of them get fed the Speer 135gr +p Gold Dot JHP, with plenty of light FMJ reloads for plinking.

Love J-frames

I have an S&W Model 49 that has Wolff lighter springs, CAREFULLY smoothed action, & Crimson Trace Laser Grips. It's my favorite CCW gun. I'm 70 now, & have been insulin dependent diabetic for about 27 years, so the Laser Grips are a lifesaver (maybe literally) for me. The diabetes has played hell with my eyes.

642

I own the 642 and it is my backup when I do security in Detroit. Love that gun so much.
