TBH with the pump action .22lr.
Me, just having fun!
OK, so it's not a man cave, it's a playground!
i can only do that with my pellet gun
my compound bow in my yard but have to drive 60 to shoot my rifles, most ranges are pistol only and the ones that aren't are crowded as hell and I hate crowds.
the pistol ranges by me get real picky when you rapid fire your semi-auto handgun.
of the RO's seem to have a stick up their ass, I understand safety but come on.
this range by work, that lets me have fun..when i get there in the evening,,,,i pretty much have the range to my self....and they like that i buy allot of ammo when i go.
little cartons of BBs have you bought there?
that I step foot in an indoor range is for pistol practice. I too have one near my work where I go at lunch twice a week for an hours practice, nobody there at 11:00 so I can practice my draw etc.
PELLETS=about 500 for 8.50 ammoo hmmmmm...9 mm=10.00 for 50....i spend about 80 bucks everytime i go to the range...thats fee and ammo and targets
i spend close to a hondo myself if i go to an indoor range, but i can shoot out my backyard,as in there is no zoning laws against it,but i have only shot a couple times out of respect for my neighbors(noise and their concern for where the rounds are going, although i have a great firing lane,i got their permission to shoot years ago, just to be friendly), and as you know, shooting outside in the winter sucks.
Cave or not, I'll take it.
Looks great to me. How far from your house?
Here in Payson, we just drive to the other side of the city landfill to the BLM land, and you can set up anywhere on there, use whatever you want, and shoot anyway you want. Everybody's respectful of each other, so it works very well. Kind of a pain in the ass to shoot rifles, because the land goes up and down before it gets anywhere, so you walk into and out of a gully or two to set your target.
Honestly, I never checked the mileage. It's 15 minutes, some interstate and some city.
Let's say 15 miles.
I ain't fired a hundred rounds since then. I got to get back to living.
me too,it's been a couple weeks now since i shot.
I am sure there is lead deficient strip of land out there that I need to cure. :)
Only shot the AK twice and have had it for like 5 months! That Sucks, and I'am too busy to go this weekend.......DAMN!!
tomorrow, the guns are begging to be shot, and i love the smell of gunpowder.
Woke up the smorning feeling fine, I know you remember the song, and looked at my wife and she said No, I said I did not even say anything, she said you don't have too ? I said, well waste on you, I am going shootin, she said good because today is girls day at whoevers. I said good because today is shootin day at wherever I want to, HA! I took a shower and went to leave and she says when you coming back, I said when I run out of lead, and don't make plans for me with Debra's New husband from england Richard ? Had a blast all day, spent most of the day with 5 sheriffs picking off rats getting out of hand at a old dumpsite, on the run with open sites an SG5S about 70 yards out. fun, fun, fun, till her daddy took the t-bird away. Also watched as a family of red fox apparently live on the rats. No we did not shoot the Fox, but for some reason they somehow actually came out and took the rats as we downed them, no-fear, cool huh. But sherriff lives on front of old site and doesen't let anybody back there. Some job perks huh, hell of a break if they live in a modgular home, or double wide and on force at same time. Extra responsability, but apperantly worth it to some. JC
shooting at a dump is a good time,,,,,,,,,back when i was working on a river barge we got to shoot a lot of rats on shore, great for keeping the eyes sharp.
I agree and came back onery as hell, and messed with the king reap, and still did not get him, maybe a little. But it was a good day and was waiting for one for a long time. John
