unique 30-shot .22 caliber, single-action revolver circa 1860-1870, probably French showing no proof stamps or other markings, 7” overall with two superposed round barrels which are half round and half octagon, the top barrel being ribbed with fixed front sight. The action is external and the cylinder is operated single action. The fluted cylinder has two rows of chambers; the outer of 20, the inner of 10. The hand and gears are located on the outside of right and left side of frame. The condition is good with some light pitting. We would guess this revolver to be a prototype as it was too complicated; probably a design or patent model. In good working order
