the rock outcrop is about a mile away as the bullet flies,
I think, gunna take some research to be sure.
This is sweet!!! I like the "post" reticle style as well!!
Variable mag optics will shoot to the same point of aim "if" the highest power is not more than 3X the lowest.
Hence the 3X9
or 4X12 .etc.
Any variable power magnification beyond X3 would result in a "mirage" type point of aim.
Once again, this is old school stuff. Technology may have passed me by.
they made em' ace, I like it as well. I have been trying to take a pic through the optics of my 1998 ROMAK3 for comparison but my camera isn't cooperating, It has a very fine reticle so I gave up.
same general direction.
I see an incremental graph on the left with a 1.7 on a straight line beneath. What's going on here? What are we trying to accomplish with the data provided?
I haven't even shot it yet but I will keep you posted, I am hoping this weekend. I didn't spend any time in sniper training, much less in the Romanian military so we will learn together. I think this graph may represent a sort of range finder but the optics still has the windage and elevation adjustments as well.....So I don't know, I think a little research for me is in order tomorrow.
