Hello Everybody. I'm new here. I recently acquired this Walther PPS .40cal. The first 50 rounds were very disappointing, I had 10 FTF in the first 50, 3 failures to eject and 7 times the trigger failed to reset. I did put another 100 rounds through it and had now problems at all. I'm hoping it is a breakin issue. If anybody has any experience with this gun, I'd love to hear your input Thanks.

its a nice pistol i will give you that. but its a little stubby. Are you gonna conceal carry it or just use it for fun? I love my Colt SAA but if i was to conceal carry a gun i would go for a Glock.

Thanks Snake. I was planning on carrying it. Right now I carry a sig 239 and I rotate a glock 27 in there too. I was just looking for something very slim to have in the summer months when I'm not wearing coats. I have been looking to get a glock 36, but I can't find one anywhere. As a matter of a fact, there seems to be shortage on all glocks around here. Except the 10mm versions for some reason. I may have some questions for you later about mounting a scope on my AR. But right now I don't have the funds. Thanks again.

I don't have any experience with this gun, but I have heard from a lot of ppl having those kind of problems before the gun is broken in. Pretty much all of them had no issues afterwards.

I BOUGHT A GLOCK 36 TWO YEARS AGO FOR CARRY, AND BOUGHT 2 PEARCE EXTENDED MAGS FOR IT FOR TWO REASONS, ONE, I HAVE SHORT HEAVY FINGERS AND THE SMALL GRIP WOULD NOT GIVE ME ENOUGH SURVICE TO FEEL SAFE SHOOTING IT. SECONDLY, I INCREASED MY ROUND COUNT AND EVEN WITH .45 CAL., ANY ADDED ROUND COUNT IS WELCOME. MY CHOICES ALL WORKED OUT WELL, AND NEEDLESS TO SAY I CAN CRANK OUT A SERIOUS AMOUNT OF DAMAGE THAT NO HUMAN ON THE RECEIVING END CAN SURVIVE. I HAVE A GREAT HOLSTER SET-UP (CROSS DRAW), A GOOD STIFF BELT, AND ALL THE FIRE POWER I NEED FOR ALMOST ANY SITUATION. YOU WILL GET USED TO THE MARGINAL WEIGHT OF THE UNIT AND ENJOY KNOWING YOU ARE COVERED FOR ALMOST ANYTHING......MY CHOICE WAS GOOD. I PASS MY KNOWLEDGE ONTO YOU IF YOU NEED IT. SEMPER FI.......

I am able to hide a full size 1911 with a a ten round mag. Now glocks are nice and good to carry but nothing says "go ahead punk make my day" like having a full size 1911 by your side. Now I know its not about carrying the biggest piece of artillery you can but you got to admit a 1911 is K.I.S.S.Now as I lose weight I will have to find something smaller to conceal until then I am rocking the 1911

I carry one (9mm). There is a small oil hole right behind the breech on top of the slide, failure to oil it after cleaning leads to misfires, oil and oil well.

ditto to what TG said Jeff.. our Prayers, and best wishes now and for the 23, will do a post on it 22 Jan to get a bunch of those things sent up... All will be fine, and TG and i will wait another 30-40 years for that 1911..

Agree on the wait.. 40 years puts me at 104.. Wouldn't be able to pick up a pick if i wanted, and would have forgoten why i picked it up if i did..
By the way.. been meaning to tell you for a year or so. (new members note were sorta slow) you have the best address of our international membership.. think it's the "outer rim" thing..
