As we speak, I have this image above my house and neighborhood

Right now, Sun June 7th 7:45am, they are looking for illegals and dope runners from over my house and my neighborhood. My guns are loaded and my door is locked, if it is illegals I will call Border Patrol. But if it is mules carrying dope, I will engage and hold. I as an American Citizen am damn tired of this vermin. Fuck Obama and his make nice "soft power" policies. 9mm and 12 ga 00 make more sense.

no country for old men

As I get older, the El Paso Sheriff's quote in the movie rings truer, "It's the dismal tide, not the one thing."
El Paso Sheriff: Yea all that over at the Eagle Hotel? Huh, it's beyond everything.
Ed Tom Bell: Yea. Got some hard bark on him.

Given the failures of the past, I think we need to give the current officials our support as well as speak truth to power. Citizens on the border need to be protected just as we "protect" those in other parts of the world. Stay safe and keep us informed.

Thanks

Hey ebear

If it's bearmeat, it's dead meat! All is well, sirens and heliocopters for about 45 minutes, but if it is like usual the US now has 15 more maids and 100 more landscapers.

it very slow here at the forum today. it would be nice if you guys could come up with a interesting weaponry topic for us to discuss.

ryo had good time at shooting range this morning. got to shoot my little Walther bullpup for 2 whole hour. the first two hour there ryo was working with the Senior Range Master at ryo usual job. got to fire little brother's beretta ar 70/90 5.56mm again today like did last week too, but only ten round. both are very fun rifle to shoot.

ryo want next rifle to be 5.56mm x 45mm class rifle. something different from the ones owned by ryo little brother. am very much taken with the Swedish make Saab/Bofors AK 5 Basic as one choice, and also like very much the Yankee Hill Manufacturing Co. YHM Carbine type that is also chamber for the 5.56mm x 45mm.

ryo currently own and love to shoot a little Walther G22 Black A3 Bullpup in .22lr caliber. would very much like for next rifle to be a 5.56mm x 45mm semi automatic version of military rifle. currently am considering only two of these type rifle. first is the Saab/Bofors AK 5 Basic that is a Swedish make rifle. the other rifle under consideration is the YHM Black Diamond Specter line of carbine.

If anyone has any suggestion, especially for a bullpup design 5.56mm x 45mm rifle or carbine, ryo would very much like to hear it.

LD buy the MR556

The MR556

A direct descendent of the HK416, the MR556 is a semi-automatic rifle developed by Heckler & Koch as a premium level commercial/civilian firearm. Like the HK416, the MR556 is a major product improvement of conventional AR-type carbines and rifles.

Using the HK-proprietary gas piston system found on the HK416 and G36, the MR556 does not introduce propellant gases and carbon fouling back into the rifle's interior, making it the most reliable of any AR-type firearm.

The MR556 will be produced at Heckler & Koch's new manufacturing facility at Newington, New Hampshire from American and German made components. To conform to German export regulations, certain design changes made in the MR556 prevents the rifle's upper receiver from being used on other AR-style firearms.

The MR556 uses many of the assemblies and accessories originally developed for the HK416 series arms including the HK free-floating four-quadrant rail system/handguard. This system allows all current accessories, sights, lights, and aimers used on M4/M16-type weapons to be fitted to the MR556. The HK rail system can be installed and removed without tools and returns to zero when reinstalled.

Like the famous HK416, the MR556 uses a barrel produced by Heckler & Koch's famous cold hammer forging process. The highest quality steel is used in this unique manufacturing process producing a barrel that provides superior accuracy for more than 20,000 rounds with minimal degradation of accuracy and muzzle velocity.

Projected availability of the MR556 in the USA is late 2009.

ryo will look more into this. ryo really like the H&K 417, but it chamber for the 7.62mm x 51mm .308 round and so is too much rifle for ryo at this time. but am very impressed with H&K quality craftsmanship neh. this is one to add to list. domo arigato goziemasu! (thank you very much)

Weaver rail system ka ryo is pretty sure it would be or it would not be compatible with NATO standards, but since don't know this, ryo have to ask. all of ryo optic equipment is design for use with the Picatinny/Weaver rail type system.
