Weather

With all the news lately about the subzero weather and snow that the Midwest and east coast areas are experiencing, we shouldn't forget that the Southern Arizona area also has its share of devastating weather in the last couple months.

Here is a photo showing damage to a home from a recent storm that passed through the Southern Arizona area. It really makes you cherish what you have, and reminds us not to take life for granted.

This is funny, sam

My mother in law sent a pic of icicles and snow drifts from Illionois, so the wife took a cell phone picture of sunshine and rocks for her. Although, short of a tornado, the wind here gets about as bad as I've seen anywhere.

Terrible devastation

God, that's a shame, Sam. I hope it wasn't your house.
Several of my friends and former coworkers in southeastern PA sent me photos of the piles of snow there in the recent storms this year. While I sympathized with them, I couldn't help but think how glad I was that I wasn't there any more, as I walked around my place, with the only snow in areas of deep shadow.

You know, sam

Homeowners may actually have to invest in some Thompson's Water Seal. It's rained more this year than the same time last year. Maybe Gore was right about climate change, but wrong about the type. maybe we're in the middle of man-made global wetting.

I don't know about a global wetting, but in this country we're being pissed on by Washington.
