But consider yourself lucky Brad. Look how much money you saved yourself by not marrying that cheating bitch. You are a Surgeon my man, hold that head up and go to Hooters and have a ball!

Not to sure about Thailand right now.. i have a special "fondness" for the country as well, but they appear to be shooting each other a lot at the moment.. that pesky little "who's in charge" thing..

But if I could visit any place in the world it would be Russia. I want to visit Volgagrad aka Stalingrad just to see some vintage WWII places. Volgagagrad was virtually desrtoyed in WWII but now is in pretty good shape.

College is starting in the fall from what SVCC told me. They said if I start in fall I would have more time with my subjects such as 3 subjects a month instead of the 5 or subjects. They reccomended it would be best for me to do that. But im am now on the list as a sub teacher, got an application in the local jail, also as a little bit of money coming in till then I am doing small engine repair for people I have an ad in the local Bargin Finder under services that lets people know I will repiar there lawn equipment such as mowers, weed eaters, chain saws ect. Hows things your way?

well sky

I never want to be a doc. I like teaching and passing the knowledge of the past to the future so we wont forget our heritage and or repeat the mistake we all made in the past. Thats what I find important to me.

Sky Thank you

It really helps me when I get positive motivation on what I wish to accomplish. I re-read your above comment and I belive i get your point....I think. You are saying that your glad they dont let untrained people like me in the medical feild because of just a few minor things like a GED ect. Forgive me if it sounded harsh as I am typing this comment as it comes to me. I just thank god I have an oppurtunity to help the youth of today for thr future of tomorrow.

I know you want to teach, and that's certainly a worthy ambition, which I applaud.
My mother was a teacher for 42 years, and was excellent at it. I was always proud of her.
Have you considered joining the military (any branch)? It's 4 years, and will give you an excellent foundation for the rest of your life. If you accept the responsibility, it will be the foundation for a feeling of accomplishment for the rest of your life.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

I faintly recall someone here on the site said I didnt have the mental capability to be in the military and now I feel as I aint worthy to be part of the military. I thought about border patrol but that negitive feel about the military has reached that point to.

If you want to join the military, that would be a good thing. Also, the GI bill these days is fantastic! You'd get all 4 years of college paid for--not to mention the many many opportunities for education while you are in. The GI bill now pays full tuition, even for expensive private schools, gives you an additional $1K for books per year, AND gives you E-5 BHA for your area to boot. (BHA = Basic Allowance for Housing) My daughter is going to the U of Texas in San Antonio where BHA is over $1300 per month. She'll be switching to a private college next spring where tuition is over $25K per year, and they'll pay that, too. When I drew the GI Bill I got $200 per month, period. It has really changed for the better.

Sorry to say it kinda left me hurt and now it makes me worry if I can live up to expectations of people. I think ill just stay away from the military. I dont want to be a failure and im pretty sure I aint cut out for the military either Physicaly or mentaly. Ill just stick to making it a a history teacher. I hope I aint hurting anyone by declining it.

You're seriously selling yourself short.
You definitely have the mental capacity to be in the military.
And look at Schuyler's comment about the current GI bill for help for education!

No offense but

l think I will just stick with the history teahing goal. I honestly dont think I have it in me to be a soldier. God forgive me! When I first joined the site I wanted to make it as a sniper in the army rangers now I just feel awful about it after the episodes I went through .

Bud, i brought this back up as i had to get off earlier, and wanted to see what the scoop was with the driver.. Figures.. i sorta figured you'd find a job for him.. Good for you brother.. I just hope he appreciates his good fortune..

Snake.. Nope, not time to get back to the original post, first off I'm guessing Brad would like something good to come of it..

Please take a second look at the comments by all.. We've seen you do a real change. Forget the past Snake.. These guys are serious, and so am i.. I do like the attitude you have about teaching.. But don't like the negative attitude you have about your abilities.. What ever comments were made (don't know who, don't care) were directed at the old Snake.. That boy has turned into a Man.. and you can do the military, are anything else you want..

Know a little something about being a slow learner, or at least slow at taking responsibility.. You have impressed us all by your changes so stop the "i can't" shit..

Each and everyone of us on here wants you to succeed.. This place could be a lot of fun in the future if you could afford to buy a couple of cool weapons..
