Any news on the construction project? Have you handed over the truck keys yet?

yeah kind of

still "soon to start",within the month, you know how that goes.I have not turned over the truck but since i'm home now for a week i am gonna be crossing my fingers that i only have to get back in it to turn it in and not go back out for any length of time, bleh.

and the bike thing was quite unintentional, just add beer in there somewhere.

lol, didn't change anything, he tore it down and punched it out then threw bars on the back..

No sir, he fell into that bullet... Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!

ISD.. good to see you back.. Good luck on not having another run Lucky.. Lee your turn for stupid after mine..

Got a "few" of these will just throw out the most embarrassing.. The new 883 was red.. put a king sportster tank on it with gold bar and shield.. outlined the tank and fenders in the same gold.. and damn that bike was hot.. made a stop at the local bank for something and as i was going out to the scoot i noticed a line waitinng to use the ATM out front and to be honest this was back when i had some "stuff" and yep i was being checked out..

i knocked my dick in the dirt..

Sportsters have a frame to fork lock (i can see lucky and pard laughing as they both know whats ahead) simple deal that allows you to drop a pad lock thru.. Typical for three piece patches is a long pad that allows you to secure the piece as well.. anyway the bike was new enough (i was "slow" enough) that i put the pad lock in and secured the bike.. When i was heading out and had EVERYONES attention i .. uhhh forgot that..

a bike with a secured fork will ALWAYS hi side.. I opened it up and droped the clutch, and high sided (fact not story) into the group that only seconds before were checking the boy out.. went from awsome to awshit in two seconds.. the right side of all harleys is exhaust and intake area.. my beautiful perfect chrome drags and aircleaner were the balance point as i sorta spun around so they could see this act from all angles... sheesh.. ok someone else now.

laughing here

never took off but foregot the lock a couple times myself.I have done so many dumb things with a bike but this one was embarrassing enough:

a night of drinking,me and the ex at a bar known for having an out door hang around area, lots of bikes, maybe 100 or better.almost all 3 piece. We started there in the daylight drinking, now it was night time and time to go,i was lit pretty good,as in i got my shit together lit.

so me and the ex get on the sporty,i had a kick start XLCH model,so i draw a crowd starting the bike anyway. One kick key off,one kick key on an VROOM,badass when it goes right.Let it warm up,straight pipes 1/4 cam nice popping exhaust all is good and the crowd is watching.

mount up,1st gear, pop the clutch,ADIOS MOTHERFU##ers, pull out, launch into hard left turn, clutch in,find second gear, pop clutch, rear tire spits rock, spins, flys out right and down we go with the bike spinning around us OLAY! we went about 10 feet.

guys were spitting beer laughing so hard.....

dumb bike stuff

my dumbest move actually happened on my quad.......i needed new grips for my quad before a race(amateur) but the brand i like was sold out in quad style with small doughnuts on the inside for a thumb throttle.i bought the usual style but in motorcycle with larger doughnuts glued them on and cut the bottom of the doughnut off to allow room for the thumb throttle, well as i was leaving the pit to turn around and get inline to stage (no helmet) i burped the throttle, the grip twisted, pegged the thumb throttle all the way,and before i could tap the rear brake i was flat on my back with a splitting headache i stood up,and had to run after my bike that ended up against a fence, still on its wheels thank god!and thank god for the lesson gently learned that no distance or turn is too safe to need your brain bucket, and there is a real reason why they make atv grips smaller...............AAAaaHA!!!! lucky i didn't take a fast ride in the van with the cool flashing lights on that one.

stupid bike shit

Not so much. I always respected the machine and feared the "cages" when I rode. I do have a story for ya though. I was cruising the strip in small town TX back in the day. Me and a bunch of buddies were having a good time. I'm on a Suzuki 400 one lung made to look like a HD. One of the hot chicks had just left the Country club pool and was cruizing in her car. She pulls up and asks me for a ride.
DUH!! OK, hop on. Took her for a spin around town, bikini and all, dropped her back off at her car. I notice all the guys are laughing and pointing at me. Turns out I'm sporting a couple of wet boobie marks on my back! Badge of honor guys, badge of honor. (.)(.)

Thats a bike joke guys. Suzuki made a Savage that everybody made fun of cause of the name.. Had a Black Sergeant that had one, and Gloria and i had it for a week in 03.. Long story, bottom line was the Sarge busted his ass for me.. He had planned to go to the Laughlin bike run (this was the one that featured the shoot out) Sergeants name was Rico Kepney, and no way to tell you how far out on a limb he went for his new Lt.. First, last, and only time i've ever loaned my scoot to another.. the right thing to do..

Rico was Army trained, and had lost his best friend earlier that year (the Sgt Davis i've talked about) They were going to make the Laughlin run together.. After Davis died Rico went into some serious deperession.. I wanted him to take his wife and make the run, he didn't think the 650 (i have the cc's right.. know it was more than 400) could handle two up that far.. so i did something i never would have dreamed..Told him to take my FLP.. My back had gotten to the point that i knew we were going to have to sell it, and figured why not. For you non bike guys this is a big thing, and an indication of my trust in Sarge.. Gloria and i had his Savage, and it was pretty cool. Raked and loud.. Full custom.. and fun for the week we had it.. Rico took the wife, and outside of the shootout that they were asleep for, had a good time..

Guess the Glide saved their hide on the way over.. Said they fueled up at kingman and a group pulled in that were pretty straight up white with a cap W.. Guess they gave Ricco some looks inside, and then mellowed out when he came out and got on the FLP..
