That's what the Scatter Gun cures! Great to see the guys doing, and not just sitting around!

Slow is smooth, smooth is fast

the shotgun targets are different targets. so, you're mistaken. the scatter gun doesnt cure the misses.

With rifle, shooter shot the metal plate or popper, with shotgun shoot the plastic tubes

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

as I said; the shotgun

as I said; the shotgun targets are different targets.
the plastic things are 'snakes'
scattergun dont make up for rifle misses. misses are a 5 second penalty.
shotgun targets you shoot til down or gone..

I am familiar with cowboy action shooting matches.

Saw this every time i shot with a clock on. Everybody gets a bit of "nerves" the first few times under the pressure of time competion.
After we retired and moved to our present home i went to one of our local clubs "Yavapai recreation" tuesday morning open shoots, these are mostly for retired guys. Got to be honest, i thought after two decades of qualifing with the dept. and early bowling pin, then PPC shooting, i would do "pretty good"... Yeah right, what i remember is droping speedloaders, and generally looking pretty much like "Joe shit, the rag man" Thankfully i had been around enough to know you don't do any bragging "before" you shoot, so no loss of money or face. Bottom line if you havent shot competion you don't know you will react when the timer starts.

a man has to hold his word, hold his beliefs, and hold a good sight picture.
