Seems ridiculous

Waiting for the poppers to fall would take the most time.

No, runawaygun

you hit the poppers at the top and they go down fast with the loads we shoot. They have to be hot loads to make the power factor for IPSC.

Define hot load

Are you shooting +p 45 for major? what about 9mm? I'm assuming 9mm falls into minor power category?

Hot load

Yes, 9mm falls into minor and 38 Super and 40 S&W and 45 are hot loads. Unless you are shooting the 45 acp with a 230 grain bullet. That is the only bullet that you can shoot the can be a factory load and still make major power factor.

I was shooting a 200 grain lead bullet in 45 acp that was running 1100 fps in my race gun. They shot great and I had no problem with steel.

around here. I'll be shooting minor with my G19. Three gun seems like fun, but I don't have a shotgun
