Where (dumbass) screen names come from

Where (dumbass) screen names come from

This guy has been my constant companion for 11 years, and I called him "birdiebird" when he was a fledgling. Now, that's what he calls me. A co-worker heard it about 10 years ago, and the name kinda' stuck. His name's actually "ASTRO" after the cartoon dog, cause that's what he sounds like when he talks.

I had 39 of these...

I had 39 of these bastards at one time, of various species 'cause my ex-wife thought there was money to be made at raising them... 39 will eat you out of house and home, if you aren't successful at marketing them. Raising them is the easy part.

I want a bird

I want an African Grey Parrot. They have huge vocabularies and they look like they have flat tops, just like me.

I think I have PTSD

from my aunt's bird. It's a cockatoo or cockatiel (The big one with the feathers on the head that raise up). We were drunk and playing cards and the fucking thing let out a screech that scared the shit out of me. I couldn't stop shaking for a while. Goddamned bird. Fuck that thing.
