Performance

I was always fascinated with the rifle but never had the courage to own one. But after the incessant encouragement of my peers, I finally mustered to purchase this legendary rifle. I opted to have a derivative (imitation for some) and purchased the AK-47 WASR 10. This is a Romanian variant and costs around $300-$350 in the market today.
Let me clear on this: AK-47 WASR 10 is illegal in some states (California) so before approaching any gun shops, check with your local authorities if you can actually own one.
Features

With that said, the AK-47 WASR-10 is probably one of the best variants for this rifle. This Romanian version doesn’t place a hole in your wallet but any gun enthusiast will easily enjoy handling this type of gun. The rifle has the same barrel length with the original AK-47 so you’ll practically have the same experience of the original.
After a few tweaks and required cleaning with the new WASR 10, it’s off to the firing range for me. AK-47 is not necessarily a rifle that prides itself to be accurate but I was still impressed with the results. The ergonomic body of the WASR 10 makes it very easy to handle which might have contributed to the accuracy. The weight of WASR 10 is also the same as the original (4.3kgs). You’ll be surprised how the weight actually contributes to the stability. But be careful: the rifle is relatively stronger than expected. Start with 10 rounds or even less to gradually allow your body to adjust to the strength of AK-47 WASR 10. If you can muster 20 rounds without any trouble in aim, you can say you already tamed your AK-47 WASR 10.
Appeal

AK-47 WASR 10 is a highly recommended rifle for many gun enthusiasts. It’s very reliable, easy to handle and friendly to the pocket.
