East German Police gun.

Feeds perfect with FMJs although seems to constantly jam with HPs. My friend tells me that it is apparently designed not to accept HPs. I found that a little weird for a police carry. I'm not much of a shot with pistols, though at around 10 yards I was able to do 5 inch groups. Honestly a personal best with any pistol other than a revolver. My friend shooting his is able to put a bead to something and hit within about a quarter of an inch of where he's aiming at 15 yards.

It's terribly hard to find clips for this pistol. Everyone online is usually sold out. Not to mention that since it's a single stack 9, it really leaves some wanting in a hi cap mag since the hi caps are 10 rounds, a whole 2 rounds more. The cop holster that it comes with is hideous and it hard to remove the pistol from it. You can get a holster from Blackhawk that fits it but is not intended for it. The stock iron sights can be replaced with tritium sights.

Over all this gun is lacking in a lot of modern ways. The single stack clip makes shooting it seem trivial at times. Sometimes you just want to pull the trigger as fast as you can but lo and behold, 8 rounds later and you're out. It is a decent pistol though. Those 8 shots you have will at the very least come very close to where you are aiming. With some patience and practice though, it becomes very reliable. It feels great in your hands. It doesn't fill your hands but you are comfortable. All in all, a decent pistol with a nice little history.
