The 23 performs very well at the standard 25 yard distances.
Consistantly grouping at about 1 3/4 inches on a 5 shot group.
Features 
Not a lot of features to talk about here it is a Glock!
The best feature would be it's ease of use.
Lots of factory and after market parts for this gun.
Appeal 
This gun is what I call sleek looking. It fits my hand well, and I would say that I have smallish hands.Again I think ease of operation would fall here also, as I think this makes this gun more appealing .

All in all I have found the Glock23 rock solid.I have had NO malfunctions what so ever right out of the box.
It has proven very accurate and reliable.Extremely easy to use. All safeties are off when trigger is pulled and back on when trigger is let off.
Which brings me to the only worrie and caution to you about this gun and Glocks in general.When a roound is chambered all you gotta do is pull the trigger! Could be very DANGEROUS around small children and nosey non gun people, if you know what I mean.
I highly RECOMEND this gun the 40 cal is plenty big enough to get the job done!
But PLEASE practice gun safety around your friends and family. Not a gun to leave laying around beside your recliner.

Great review,I have the 2nd generation with a hogue slip on grip with the finger grooves,no need for a light or laser rail.Just slap in a LASER MAX internal laser and some MEPROLIGHT night sights and she's ready for action against any thug or crackhead on the street.Keep all firearms locked up from children,and if you got it out it should be on your side or in your hands,if a nosey person was to get close to mine,my safety,that is my right trigger finger,would be on the trigger.

Great pistol, (duh its a glock). but this one had me from hello, i fits my paws just right.

super easy, only takes bout 100 bucks and 15 seconds....wah la brand new pistol....to bad they don't make conversions in every common caliber for every model... but that would be almost criminal and in some cases impossible
