great rifle without breaking the bank

Performance

shoots very smooth and accurate no matter what you put into it. flimsy feel with original stock, mags could slide out smoother

Sling and swivels
Grip mounted clip release
Quick on-off thumb safety
Operations safety sheet
Free trigger lock
Lifetime warranty
100% American-made, parts and assembly

Appeal

original stock is ugly and flimsy. Highly suggest getting the ati stock and svg shorty foregrip after that it looks and feels great but have to rate on "as bought"

I have researched this gun before I bought it and i found many people bad-mouthing this gun. I could never get any specifics though, so basically it was opinion without anything to back it up with. the price tag decided it and i was very satisfied the first time i fired it. I upgraded the stock, added 3 rails, 2 lights, svg grip, laser, bi-pod, compensator, 45mm red dot scope and mag pouch with 2 additional clips all for under 500 dollars. No problems, very accurate at 75+ yards with a 9x30 scope, feels good and looks good also. you dont have to spend a load to get quality and made in the USA backed by a lifetime no questions asked warranty.

I want one.., for the price, hell just shoot the hell out of it and send it back if it fails. I have hear service is good. Can anyone confirm that? One thing are mags.., 10 rounders and single stacks at that. Has any one heard of a upgrade available to Sten mags or even better Glock mags, I mean 32 rnd Glock mags in this little gem. That would make it a nice bug out gun, no?

I MAY BE OLD AN SLOW..., BUT I CARRY A BIG GUN!

okay,i understand they(hi-point) have a lifetime warranty. The KelTec sub2000 accepts Glock,Sig,Beretta, and S&W magazines(specify when purchasing),so for 280.00 you can get a Keltec carbine and use those 33rd mags, not sure what the warranty is on a KelTec though.

i tried being reasonable,i didn't like it, NRA LIFE MEMBER,USMC VETERAN
