Hi Point C9 Comp review

Performance: 10

Very solid gun, recoils is very smooth with compensator. You can notice the difference with it. very accurate with adjustable sights. Smooth action after "break in" period. no jams

Features: 9

slide open safety to view chamber. mag safety so it will not fire even if chambered unless there is a clip in grip. compensator has weaver mount to install light or laser. 1911 style mag release. 3 dot adjustable dot sights, easy to clean

Appeal: 7

still concealable with compensator but a little bit heavy. very firm and balanced in hand especially for smaller hands. striaght forward design, not too much vusual appeal

Great 9mm handgun for it's price range. features and also comes with a trigger lock and 8 and 10 round mags. Smooth trigger pull and nicely controlled recoil due to compensator. I have used ball and hollowpint ammo with no problems, however, I suggest to run about 150 rounds through each clip to break in. this prevents jamming with hollowpoints. I would recommend using the standard C9 if you are looking to conceal. This handguns adjustable sights are great and can be upgraded to ghost ring which is included. very nice no questions lifetime warranty which is passed on should you decided to sell it, so it does hold a nice resell value as well.

because the review was done by coldfront, who ownes a few hi points. I personally think they're garbage. A "10" in performance? Think about it. Thats basically saying there is nothing better out there.

yes. the 9mm and .40 pistols, and the 9mm carbine. I won't talk trash on something I've never fired. if you're looking for a tackle box gun for $100, it will do the job. I just persoanlly wouldn't depend on it for a primary defense weapon.
