I like this one better then the AK, just because it is fun to shoot
Performance: 9
The performance was excellent on this weapon. I'm not sure which weapon I had(which countries) but I was in Iraq and I'm pretty sure it wasn't Iraqi made. The shots were smooth and deliberate and delivered an on the point shot everything.
Features: 6
As far as extras, the only one I'm aware of is the bayonet that it attached and stored by swinging down into the neck of the rifle. I have to say though, it's a cool little attachment.
Appeal: 8
It looks like any other weapon except for the bayonet. It does have some clean lines and a nice polish to it(If you got a Yugo or Albanian). its weighted right and does appear to be worth the $300 yo would normally pay for a good one.
Overall:
So to sum up the SKS in 100 words, this is a clean looking gun. Nothing special but defiantly not the ugliest! The bayonet is a cool extra that flips out from underneath the gun itself. However it is a thin and narrow bayonet that does not seem to be of the best make. After shooting though I believe you will like the weapon as I do for its accuracy and ease to shot. It is a weapon from many countries and has seen many a war. I would recommend adding this to your collection. Just make sure it is a well made one. There are plenty of countries who make a SKS but only a few that do it right
