Pistol Gripped Boomstick

Performance: 8

Carries 7 rounds and is pretty much point and shoot within 25 feet. Now that's pretty typical for a shotgun as I understand it but man it was still fun. We tried a little skeet shooting, redneck style by throwing bottles and randam cans we found lying around. I have to say that it was pretty responsive. I had no feed problems whatsoever. When my friend took over the shooting, I could really see it in action. He put it through it's steps and shot every successive target. Though with the pistol grip it was awkward aiming he said.

Features: 10

I've looked at aftermarket furniture and other accessories and it seems like the possibilities are endless. Sort of one accessory which seems to be purely for an italian shotgun, I'm not sure it isn't compatible with any shotgun accessory depending only on the stock.

Appeal: 10

There's nothing as cool looking as a pistol gripped pump. Whether black or stainless it just screams SWAT and makes you want to be a little kid again playing cops and robbers.

Overall:

I'm not much of a shotgun shooter and in fact this is only the third shotgun I've ever shot. The other two were also double barreled models. The pistol grip is cool but when it comes down to control and buttstock model would be much more responsive. The use of birdshot is just plain fun, but once you go to say buckshot or something heavier it starts wanting to break the wrist. I've not shot a slug through one though I do admit not only does that sound intimidating it also sounds like utter coolness. I very much like this gun and will compare it to an 870 when I get a chance. Over-all though if it had been like a top-folding stock or even a collapsible stock it would have made for more accuracy.
