The SAW is.....

Performance of this weapons system is not the greatest. The 249 SAW jams WAAAAY too much for my taste. If not in absolutely perfect condition, you will find your self holding a weapon that is not shooting 5 round bursts instead on full auto. When dirty, this weapon jams/double feeds/or grinds to a halt. I have done a few foot patrols with this weapon during my first deployment to Iraq and would never use it again if I had the choice.

This weapon can be attached with a scope/IR/NV, BroomStick, PEQ-2, Silencer. This is not the usual "throw anything on that you can find". Just the ones you need.

The Appeal of this weapon is only for the "Full Auto" which doesn't even work the greatest. It is just a typical black military machine gun. Not to much to write home about.

Like I was saying the weapon system, it jams allot and doesn't really provide allot of Appeal in the looks department. The type of gear that can be placed on this Machine gun is of the expensive variety and not really worth the investment . There is not much going for this weapons system other then it's military history (which I would end). It is not worth the risk of jamming to carry this heavy shoulder fired machine gun. Best to go with one that has a better reputation. I wouldn't want to be needing suppressive fire and have to rerack the damn thing every 5 shots. I would not recommend this weapon for anyone to use or buy.
