very smooth slide action. shoots very accurate with multiple interchangable front sights. Looks and feels like it's bigger brothers. very durable and well put together. 11lb trigger pull is very smooth in dual action but a little touchy in single at 4lbs. mags cycle smoothly
Features: 10
great features like the other walther models. last round slide lock. will not shoot loaded chamber is mag is taken out. interchangeable back straps for proper feel. loads of upgrades like barrels, scopes, mounts, lasers, mags can be made into 10+3 easy to strip down.
Appeal: 8
gun is very good looking and feels good in the hand. very light at 16 ounces. however I personally think it the overall size could have been a little bigger but perfect for my wife. looks very tactical with optional wlather laser attached
overall for the price, I would have to say that this is the best 22lr pistol. Comes with 2 stainless mags, tools, and case. barrel can be swapped for longer barrels and can be threaded to accept flash hiders, suppressors etc.. perfect for concealled carry or training. much beter feel then the sig mosquito. comes in a wide variety of frame / slide color options. My overall rating would be a 9 due to the small frame size but in no way effects performance, just like something a little bigger to hold on to. just make sure that you do not buy a CA modle unless you live in california. This model does not allow you to add the thread adapter without MAJOR modification which I think voids the warranty as well
I have had mine for about three years, and the pistol has performed very well after several thousand rounds through it.
There was a period during which some slides were cracking, regardless of amount of usage, but I believe this has been corrected [Mine shows no signs of this problem]
This is a perfect firearm for teaching beginning students, especially women and teenagers, the fine points of firearms safety and good shooting techniques.

I would have to disagree with the positive review of the p22. I had 2 HUGE PROBLEMS with mine. First, it would jam 75% of the time (by not chambering the round). It would do that with ANY kind of round, target load and supersonic. Also, the worst problem would be with the decocker. It wouldn't work. Which I found out the hard way, by putting a round thru my ceiling. I sold the walther and got a sig mosquito instead.
I hear all this talk about 72 virgins, but did anyone say they are female?
