I'm a USAF veteran, having spent 6 years active duty from April of '88 to April of '94. Received Good Conduct medal and National Defense Service Medal. I worked in aviation for a total (including military) for 12 years as a mechanic and in logistics. After my career went away thanks to 9/11 I ended up working in another passion, IT. But after a few years at Microsoft and learning that I could never get to be a FTE with them I ended up going with my most favorite passion, guns. I now have my own business as a professional gunsmith. I'm currently limited to my work because of a lack of lathe or mill, but I can do most anything and specialize in repairs and restorations as well as customizations and tuning of AK, AR and 1911 platforms.
