Great video, on the R side of the Youtube screen you can see the comparison between all four of the "big" 30 cal battle rifles..Springfield, SMLE, Nagant, K98.

Pretty cool that a lot of us now have one (in hamp and others case many) of these long range shooters.. Doubt that i can make shoots at a "click" or 2/3 of a mile like the old boy with the Nagant, but im sure going to try.. Next up is the Optics.. I'm giving myself a whole 100 dollars to work with on it.. yeah i know, sorta limits the field huh.. I might go used.. Know this much the furniture on the SMLE is blond, and almost looks re blued it's so dark.. The black sling makes a good contrast, as does the cheap but effective walmart front mounted bi pod, and the cheap but effective black recoil boot.. Thinking it should look real good when i get the scope on it, all blond and black..

Note that im talking looks and not performance..ahh that could be because i don't want to put more than the couple rounds i've fired till i scope it.. Or it could be that i know my relative shooting skills are not at the same levil with a rifle as a handgun.. hence gregs going to go form over function..

Guess will see.. figure i'll get a 9 power.. get it sighted in..take it to the range.. see if i can shoot anything at 25 yds.. i want to fill that reticile with the target.. dial it in.. see if i can put 5 rounds in a 1 " group.. Then tell you guys i did that at 100yds... No wait.. maybe 1600 yds.. yeah thats it..

Hey guys this is my mile target..... well the gun looks cool anyway..

Thanks ISD

He really liked it ...so soon we'll be getting him one. I'm now gonna want a new one ..haven't figured out what but think I'd like a .40. I looked into the gun coatings..kinda pricey...so new one would be better.

I be okay I guess,

got six inches of snow last night, been running the snow blower, cleaned the house and I feel like shit, some of my coworkers have been sick as of late, I guess it's my turn (note to self, more liquor is needed to kill the gambu before it gets a 'foot hold')....LOL!

last year and while I miss him, I am relieved, it's time for him to find his own "lot" in life....Ironically he moved up to OR to live by his mom, I guess once that they are adults it's beneficial to have them around...IDK! One down, two to go.....LOL!

Howdy gal, sorry i didn't see your post till now.. Had that happen to me last night with bad landing.. He was here when i got on, had made a comment to me, so i answer and he's gone..

On the RIA 1911's.. I've held one in my large, strong, masculine, yet very sensitive hands.. Then i had to put it down, cause i broke a fingernail.. Sigh..

ISD is on the money, i actually have looked at them, and i like the CSP model.. Matter of fact if you have a new SGN's you can see what im talking about on pg 77.. a company im not familiar with over in Pahrump NV has this (step up model) for 372.. Can't beat that.. least it's a place to start from in terms of pricing..

Ok.. now that you all had your "giggle" on the geezers hands..The real is as follows.. Soft, lacking in any Manley calluses, more wrinkles than i ever remember, think thats some sorta geezer lose skin issue.. oh yeah, and the sensitive is cause if i over do it they start cramping up on me.. hmm. least there still big.. Can't really tell that much due to vision issues..
