I noticed in this vidio the man
put his fingers on the squared off
trigger guard. Is this the reason
for it's shape? For 2 handed shooting ?

He's comparing a PDW to handguns. It's not in the same class. It's like comparing a Corvette to a Cavalier. Yes, Charles, the trigger guard wrap is a technique. I prefer the isometric tension (aka push-pull) grip, but some like the trigger guard. You won't see many professional shooters using it, though.
