The description of the purpose of the FMJ and the JHP was way off. They should talk to people who know before airing this garbage
"I have always been a soldier. I have known no other life. The calling of arms, I have followed from boyhood. I have never sought another." From The Virtues of War, by Steven Pressfield.
What's wrong with what the documentary said/ Is it all a lie, or are they just not giving the whole story (it wouldn't be the first time they did that).
HP rounds are much more effective than FMJ of the same caliber. The comment about how the bad guy would probably still be firing at the officer was wrong, though. Milk jugs can't fire in the first place. You don't need a JHP to stop a milk jug. Walk up, unscrew the cap, and pour it out. Booyah!!

Alternating rounds in a pistol? What the fuck? "Ooh, yeah, that hollowpoint hurt, didn't it? Don't make me fire again, 'cause the next round is the most effective one"! Give me a fuckin' break.

The bbl would only help with Glocks lead and wad cutter problems. its all about the supported chamber for higher pressure loads. I used to load +P's in my G19 for protection also. I think Glock is just trying to cover their ass.

"Sometimes the light at the end of the tunnel is a muzzle flash."
No +P is a liability thing, just like no lead bullets. I don't shoot +P very often, just testing different loads and periodic maintenance training. I used to fire lead through my G22, just cleaned the barrel every few magazines. I don't know if NYPD has aftermarket barrels for their Glocks, but they use or used +P 115 gr JHP in theirs. I've been doing it for quite a while and haven't had an issue.

Only difference is that meskins both speak spanish to each other, while one PR speaks spanish and the other answers in english. You all smell like chicken and rice.

hung like a three year old, I have to have the pubes like a
three year old.

ryo need to write you a pm. first have to go fix pops a sandwich and some hot cha so he can eat something before he take his medicine. pops is not feeling well this evening. he trying to hide it but ryo can tell neh.
when get back from this will write you the PM letter. hope all is well with you and you doing ok.
If you want any stopping power, you don't carry a pussy .32 or a .380 or a .38 special. A 9mm might be ok if you got a hallow point and you don't need penetration. The .45ACP is the ticket. It can take care of almost anything. If you want to pack more power than that you got to carry a heavier gun. I carry everywhere and I like what I got. Since I don't know what I might shoot, I load 230 grain FMJ all the time.
HP's are much more effective on stopping a bad guy but depends on what hp you are using.
Some hp will close up and act like a fmj.
Hitting a bad guy center of mass with a FMJ BULLET MAY NOT TAKE HIM OUT of FIGHT. The bad guy may or may not be stopped. Same with hp bulltes that do not preform properly.
These are facts and can not be disputted.
If you have never been there and read magazines and watch movies to gain your knowledge then you are in for a suprise.
One reason most LE departments issues HP ammo is not only stopping power but over penetration. A hp may still over penetrate but may not a fmj may more often causing injury to by standers and or other LEO. Take NYCPD, they had a huge issue with officers being struck by projetiles passing through perps with fmj bulltes.
The 9mm fmj is known as the slow death by some of the bad guys over seas, and for a very good reason. Hit today may die tomorrow.

I carry hollow, +P, and Hydro Shock; alternating them in my mags knowing that the tipical criminal only carries ball ammo

Should Hollow Points shots canbe used in any 9mm NATO pistol..?
samD
Double check with your manufacturer. +P should not be used in a Glock.

your Glock? Just curious, going by the manufacturers instructions, but it is just a suggestion, like stop signs and speed limits...

Hallow points are better for shooting soft tissue. Shooting a flack vest or a bears skull would be better to do with a Full Metal Jacket.

Are they telling us that if you lay a .45Auto FMJ slug in the middle of someone they will be ok to keep on shooting?

I agree with ya on the grain but, I like the hollow point I use 180 grain .40 S&W PMC

That will be very effective too.
