Bullshit! An airsoft gun cannot be converted to a real gun. The firing mechanism is different, there is no way you'd ever chamber a round and even if you did the barrel diameter isn't right and that guy is right, it would blow up in your face. Idiots!

What a waste of taxpayer money! I mean did they go and say bullets come out of the pipe end and hail obama to get a job. I mean really, real guns are made out of metal, airsoft as far as I know are made out of plastic

Someone need s to take that airsoft rifle out of the ATF agents hand before he shoots his own eye out. My 8 year old nephew knows more about guns then he does.

i read about this when it happened,but the vids are way better.
1. although it shouldnt be called a "toy" it isnt made of a material strong enough to hold up to the stresses of firing real amo,even if you could put a real ar upper ,trigger system,buffer tube.not to mention you would have to have the correct fire control parts to make it a machinegun.

2. it isnt in the jurisdiction of the atf to seize these items because it isnt a "firearm"

3. almost anything can be made into a gun or a gun part(zipguns)i think they used to call the little home made 22 cal single shot smoothbore weapons that poor kids and hoodlums used to make.

4. if he was in posesion of unregistered "machine guns" why isnt he in prison?why isnt there a criminal trial?
