I've gotta agree

That little girl was alittle to close for comfort when he starts shooting.
Though it was slick how he used the girl for cover while he draws his weapon.

America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!

Yes, we all think he was way too close to the baby. This is because we all (or most) have kids, and the last thing we want to see is someone innocent get hurt. I also worry that she may have some hearing loss, hopefully temporary. Children are much more fragile than we are as adults. I still count this one as a victory, for the good guys and gun owners. This man protected EVERYONE involved, and I would have done the same. This man is a hero!

Good going

Another rule of a gun fight is the good guys are supposed to win and the bad guys get dropped.
Camera angle looks like the little girl is almost in the line of fire but I say she was clear except for her ears. I hope for her sake she will not have lasting damage.
The clerk did the right thing for sure. He deserves a medal.
