That robber

is a dipshit. And he obviously didn't intend on using his pistol, because he could have. Seen that many times where idiots pull out a sidearm thinking it will intimidate people into compliance. I'm just surprised that owner didn't have a weapon accessible.

I don't know if this is 100% legit.. i've watched it a lot, and a couple things make me wonder, for example it seems like the owner is pretty quick with the dog, and doesn't jump in to the action as quick as the last actions (with dog) would indicate...The one thing i do know is the Dog is the only one on sceen that has his act together.. Know that sounds like mon morn Qback stuff, and is.. Nothing that stress causes would surprise me, it's the difference in his actions that has always made me wonder..

OK.. im batching as opposed to babysitting the Gkids because our "brownie" the wonder min pin has fluid on her lungs, Shes going to be fine, but taking diuretic that requires a lot of meds and trips outside to pee (brownie not me.. i "normally" go inside) brownie by the way is black.. long story that could only happen with us.. While were at the Vets, we see a black Lab/Shep 7 yr old neutered male.. Bit submissive which means he's had it rough.. We adopted "max" but he's not home yet.. He has a golf ball size tumor on his R side.. Thats why no one has adopted him.. He's a lover and all three (Gloria, Brownie) of us want this mutt..

Nobody (including vet and understandable) want to pay for the biopsy which is the same as the surgery 125.. Vet's a great guy, and free adoption.. Told him we'd pay for biopsy, and then depending on results either have him put down or have it removed.. He told us it was a 50/50 deal.. Gloria and i know that even if we don't bring Max home were doing something good for him, as opposed to sitting in a cage.. Anyway.. I don't have to say it, know you guys well enough to know you're there on this, so DON'T worry bout posting any "check's." Just send up a prayer or a positive thought. Will find out on Tues or Wed.. and will have a pic of Max up the next day..

Hope, you can have him home. Last Aug we had to put to dogs down..My min pin Rex and Jasmine chow ret mix.( 21days apart..they were like and old married couple)Rex turned diabetic and couldn't get it under control (I think I would have done it sooner if I really knew how bad he really was)Jasmine had tumors and 14yrs. Makes me cry when I think of them..But you'll do the right thing by your heart.

Sure know what you mean about "Rex" and "Jasmine" Leen'r.. Lost our wonderful "sandy" two years ago.. she's in the back by the fence where she would always be when we came home.. I know we all have dozens of pet stories, but i have to tell you that sandy was a trip.. Dad's last solo drive before he became really ill was from Sun Lakes to Sun City (this is what like 3 hrs or so round trip huh).. He found a "no kill" shelter, and brought home what appeared to be the most "cuddable" little mutt in the shelter..

Sandy didn't get the word on being sweet..She was a stone cold killer. The shelter had told Pop that she was a stray and had to "fend" for herself.. Small fluffy little mix of miniature spaniels..and and i think the most ferocious dog i've ever known.. Did this jekyll and Hyde number. Mom had a number of issues of her killing and bringing in birds..Calls me one time, asks if i can swing by before my shift, Sandy had brought in a "gift" Mom wrapped it up in paper towels put it in the kitchen garbage, and went to wash her hands.. The bird came back to life (this is gospel) don't know if it was in a fear induced coma or what but cross my heart.. ok birds flying, and of course shitting all over the house.. No big deal, to get it out, but just an example of Sandy..

After Mom passed away we took Sandy.. The first time she went "killer" on us was also a shit scaring event, but this time out of us..Were on the back porch. we both smoked at the time. Brownies between us.. All of a sudden Brownie jumps up on Gloria's lap, scared to death, here comes a bird with Sandy running flat out after it.. I swear im not exaggerating this, Sandy was making a noise that scared us both, teeth bared and snarling like the voice of death .. Fluffy to Killer in a millisecond.. When we moved here she was already an old dog, but still ran down anything that moved..She was so aggressive that we had to worn people walking their dogs unleashed..

We'd get this "yeah sure" look from them at first, and it took her running off a couple of seriously big dogs before that changed. Just no way to describe how funny that was, here's this little fluffy dog chasing and actually Nipping at dogs three times her size.. I was always afraid that one would turn and "end" it.. that never happened. That old thing about the size of the fight in the dog i guess..

I had to put her down myself in 2009, long story, but assure you THAT will NEVER happen again. She went blind at 14 and was still healthy three years later at 17, but when she started showing really odd behavior, and started walking into walls (funny and tragic at the same time) we knew it was time.. One of the most asked questions i hear or read related to ones beliefs, is "are their pets in Heaven".. I don't want to believe out of any "reward" thing.. but i do believe that our soul lives on, and i believe that our Creator made pets, just as he made us..

Hey on a lighter note did you and TBH decide which 1911 to buy yet.. Besides the RIA, you asked about i also saw a Philippine manufactured 1911.. Really good quality, and super low price.. Don't know if they have it in 40 or not..For what it's worth (less than 0) i'm not a big fan of the 40.. Cost prohibitive if you don't reload, and it has a snap recoil that i don't like as well as the 45 or obviously the 9.. Some of that could be that the last one i fired was a small Beretta Storm, and the light weight made it a handful..

Thanks Sam..

Yeah.. least one way or the other.. (and were going to thing positive here) Were giving him more love than he's had.. This will give you a lump..They told us he was pretty submissive.. here he comes tail between his legs all the usual signs.. lays down at our feet looks up at us.. soon as we bent down (this is not quite as quick or graceful with me as G lol) he looks at us with those soulful eyes and lays his head on our lap.. Gloria and i both got all chocked up.. She just called, says she can't stop thinking about him.. Told her what i said in the first sentence.. and thanks Sam.. He looks a lot like Samantha.. except has the coat and body of a shep.. Pictures WILL follow...

Will see you guys in a couple of hours.. going to go watch some mil chan/smithsonian. The batching thing is sorta fun.. just a wild guess, but i might have a beer of two more than my normal max of 3 tonight... Be back later..
