They're really heavy after you carry one for a few hours.

The 1918 has always been one of my favorites.. What i didn't know was that uncle John came up with this in 3 months.. What a guy.. I believe the Marines continued to use the BAR till like 65 or so, when it was replaced by the M60.. For some reason they always picked the little guy to hump this big boy..talked to a lot of "sawed off" ex marines they all said the same thing.. The smallest guy would get picked to carry the 1918.. or base plates for the morter.. Whats the story here, sure its not an accident, and ive heard it so many times there must be truth to it..

were so tough in bar fights
