Very funny response to a California state senator's arrogance and ignorance on display.
what they are talking about, they only write laws designed to annoy people and destroy California.
I grew up in California, back then it was fairly sane. Mexican neighbors were U.S. citizens and nice people, Mexican citizens went home when the jobs ended and guns were so common no one seemed to notice.
No way I'd live there again
Great pic, in the state of new jersastan, there is no end to the assault on my 2nd amendment rights.
As soon as I retire, I am escaping, where I don't know yet.
I live is VERY conservative, PLUS I know about a really neato keen house that happens to be for sale with 25 yard and 50 yard shooting in it's own back yard. Deer are plentiful, armadillo for target practice and hogs occasionally.
Too bad you haven't retired yet, it's for sale now. How many years b4 your retirement?
Depends on your cold tolerance. I like Montana (maybe Wyoming) for their tendency to want to follow the principles of our founders. But it's cold. Plus I don't like State income tax (probably better to retire to though).
Alaska has some real good selling points but, again, I wouldn't want to live anywhere that you could die if you miss a shopping trip.
I love Texas but, since we don't have a State Income Tax, property tax and vice taxes (booze, etc.) are higher. Not good for a retiree.
Texas is on my short list for the reasons you stated and a few more. My wife finally got off the florida kick, I refuse to go there. It will be a state that does not tax pensions and I can also carry a gun. I would have like to move to Vermont or NH, but the wife hate the cold. Montana and Wyoming would also south Dakoto would be great choices escept for the cold. I am thinking Virginai, West Virginia or North Carolina as well. I hunt almost every day I can during winter, I can't see that changing either.
Ten to go, before I hang it up.
