Has anyone seen this. Namir Noor-Eldeen and 11 other Iraqis were killed by heavy 30 millimetre machine-gun fire from the gunship in a few horrifying seconds on June 12, 2007. Three years later, US military footage of the incident is still classified, but a decrypted version that emerged on Monday has prompted fury in Iraq. It has also plunged the Pentagon into a new scandal over the apparent cover-up of evidence of US forces violating their own rules of engagement. They are shot in a single burst of fire, after which the gunship continues to circle as the dust settles. The co-pilot reports seeing RPGs and AK-47 rifles on the ground, though none are visible. There are at least eight bodies in plain view, however, This is war were our guys are shot at daily. Now they want to press charges on our military guys.

3 weapons and the one guy looks like he's trying to hide a rpg launcher along his body. But this is war and war sucks so if you are in a armed conflict area and get killed.........well maybe you should have stayed home.

The apache crew had no way of knowing there were journalists, and even if they did know, these guys got in a group of armed insurgents during a firefight and moved toward the American forces. They made themselves part of the story and died for their stupidity. As for the van, the Apache crew couldn't have known that there was a kid inside, so not their fault. When the shooting starts, if you aren't crawling or running away, you're part of the fight.

Oh well, can't please everyone, might as well not try. Imagine how peaceful the world would be if we had the attitude the Israelis have with out military power. NOBODY would step out of line.

What pisses me off run is now the military and iraq wants to charge the apache crew for killing these idiots. Thats wrong on so many levels............

Journalist are a dime a dozen, I fail to see the problem. If he were in downtown Atlanta and was killed by an Apache I would say he had a beef, but NOT in beautiful Iraq.

It's a war zone and they were clearly armed, nuf said. I feel bad for a child being put in this position for they know not what they do, or what is being done to them.
One more thing, I distinctly remember children being used in a war to carry hand grenades to American soldiers. The opposition will do ANYTHING to inflict as many casualties as they can.
