is the real thing. Eric Bana's character "Hoot" in Blackhawk Down was loosely based on several Delta soldiers, including MSG Howe.

Actually it was the character, Sgt. Jeff Sanderson, played by Williams Fichtner (now in Prison Break) who's character was based on MSG Howe. Paul says the movie is only about 50% accurate but the book is about 90% accurate.
We did a debrief one night on his mission in Mogadishu and the stories and photos are just amazing.

And by the way, on this drill, every one of his shots was dead center mass, except the last 5 were head shots with a grouping of <1 inch.
