I can't help

but think that this was organized, not just some ad-hoc occurrence but it's way cool just the same!

must have been amazing to those not in the loop, though.

What a great video

I love the Hallelula Chorus. This was a great job, with great voices. Indeed a surprise, and a most welcome one.

The vocal music department in my daughters' high school did this every year (the entire Messiah). In Provo and Orem, UT the Messiah is done every year in two locations, with all volunteer voices. Both my daughters sing in them, and greatly enjoy it. They've both kept the music from their high school choirs.

I would love to have been there. The Hallelula Chorus has long been a favorite of mine. This is more for the Utah members but have any of you ever heard of The Forgotten Carols? Some of the best Christmas music there is if you ask me, but I'm biased. The first date me and my wife went on was to the Forgotten Carols and I proposed to here there a few years later. I'll post a clip from the play for anyone who might be interested.
