the public's attitude is "pre-revolutionary." I never thought I would hear that on a major channel.

they don't get it. So his take on it is that the "over-educated elite" has taken over the Democratic Party from "normal" Democrats. MY take on it is that Democrat policies and liberal attitudes inevitably lead to elitist socialism. It'a a natural progression that has been rolling forward since before FDR. My hope is that the Dems never do "wake up." I hope to hell we overwhelm them in November.

" I think"

The party lines are blurred. Democrat/Republican?
It has become Conservative/Liberal and I hope people are listening and checking the voting records of all candidates.

Party lines are blurred, EXCEPT in the minds of the leaders of both parties. They're all so partisan, be they Republican or Democrat, that they can't try to work out common sense approaches to the problems we face, and form coalitions to do some positive things for the country. Pelosi & Reid want Republican cooperation, IF it takes the form of rubber stamping them. Mitch McConnell is the same way. Maybe the "vote the rascals out" is indeed the way to go in November, and we need to lose many, many incumbents.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).

in the local campaign I worked in (4th district Commissioner) we had a budget of $500 (and a lot of leg work). But my guy got the dubious distinction of being the first Republican elected to the post in the 200 year history of our county. Now the proving period begins.

What was awesome is that the people voting in the district were all known to the re-elect me candidates, we really were just gunning to get a 'nice' percentage,,,, but the numbers showed each of them picked only 1 of the two of them(their votes were split down the middle) and the other vote went to the republican.

The shift is on aye! I'll post the results if any body wants them. The numbers are small but the message is huge.

Post away Bigshot,

I am interested in the numbers no matter how small......And you are dead on when you say "the numbers are small but the message is huge"........Pelosi and Reid should not only be voted out, they should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail!
