M1 Garand, Shotgun (blew the barrel), 22, 9 mm, 40, 357 and 44 I think.
It was neat to watch, good to know that a contact or close to it under water will be effective. But the ballistics bleed off really fast for anything but the hottest loads.
Shotgun, you don't want to even think about shooting under water or it will probably Elmer Fudd on you..
No sir, he fell into that bullet...
Never argue with a stupid person. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience!!
I did watch one where they fired rounds into a plexiglass tube in a swimming pool to see what would happen to the projectile of different calibers when fired into the water to test the Movie scenes shooting people in the water. The bigger the gun the sooner the projectile came apart. Don't remember the calibers they tested but I have to listen to a few guys at work saying that they did it wrong because "they have shot into the water" and blah, blah, blah, blah. I may have to look this episode up.
Yeah I saw that one. I was surprised. I didn't realized how quick the energy bleeds off in water. They even used a .50BMG. It dropped off quick. I was sure that one would penetrate the pool floor.
