I have heard that the mini-14 had accuracy problems, but if they fixed that, it might be a good choice, especially if the price were "right".

Accuracy

Yeah ruger fixed it. They still are not very accurate. An a AR-15 or one of it'a variants will out shoot them any day.
Still would not waste my money on one. But that is just me.
If you want one then buy it, we each have our own ideas.

My local shop

has one for sale for $400. just don't have the extra money right now with Christmas coming up. Little kids toys must come before big kids toys.LOL But this will be my next rifle.
