git 'er done! Too bad the f'er lived. Although I have this one negative comment to make. Texas still has a law that makes it illegal to have weapons in a condition that a child under 17 could obtain and fire them.
Being this is Houston, the only reason the DA isn't prosecuting is because the guy's a deputy. But this situation shows why that law is stupid and should be stricken, re-written.

mixed feelings.

although i feel the parent didn't do anything wrong by letting the kid have access to the weapon,and even though it may have saved the lives of both children if its law than its law,and the cop should be prosecuted(because he's a cop)makes my blood boil that cops seem to be above prosecution.

on another note.good parenting and good shooting!
