ryo bet that crew was not expecting car to explode neh. somebody could have been hurt very serious. as fun as video is to watch, it still something they should not have done even if they thought it was not going to be dangerous. ryo was not expecting car to explode either but after seeing video and thinking more carefully about it, experience tank crew with good training should have know better neh. car with gas in it probably not a good thing to run over with tank just for fun neh.
Tankers, dream about running over vehicles. Especially in USAREUR. The civilian drivers constantly cut them off. If you are a tank or track commander there you're constantly looking behind you waiting for some --- ---- to try and pass then dart back into the lane in front of you.
(You have to look behind all of that outer space stuff)
Tankers and engineers love running over suspicious stuff with their Abrams and M113s. Considering that EOD can take hours to make it out to a suspected IED, and they must maintain a cordon until EOD secures it, it's not surprising that this happens. It's not the way it should be done, but it happens.
If you can't win their hearts and minds, then expose their hearts and minds to open oxygen. WHEN IN DOUBT, THIRTY OUT!!

At 22 seconds into the video, is that a roadwheel being blown out? It looks kinda small, but I saw an Abrams after an IED went off under it and the blast blew two roadwheels about 60 meters from the tank.

to me I also work with tires everyday and it looks like the tire blew right off the rim. If you slow it down and watch it you can actually see daylight thru the center when it spins. Not any road wheels I've seen can you see thru the center. I know since I've seen this 1st hand when to morons tried to mount a 16.5 tire on a 16. rim just couldn't get them to understand that a 16.5 is actually smaller than a 16. Thing blew up and hit the roof of a 3 story garage bay. So I feel it's a tire and thats my story and I'm sticking to it LOL

ryo is obviously not an experience tank driver neh. ryo never consider until you say, that tracks could have been damage by explosion.
