Hard to believe its been 35 years, and 40 for some!
In another generation, they will know less than what a normal 20 year old
knows about now. Thats pretty bad.
My grandfathers getting close to his end and with him goes WWII.
20 more years and the Vietnam soldiers will make their exits.
I passed this along to my old boss Jerry a Vietnam lieutenant with the
Rangers. The man never had a boring story about his 2 years over there.
God bless those men and our soldiers now, really people, say a prayer for them
and our country.
my grandpa was a NAM vet.hes no longer with us now.may god bless his sole.been almost a year now july 25 09.he was in the 2nd armor division, rank E7,had his own half track and crew with mounted .50 cal.he never really like to talk about it.he did two tours.on the second tour he was hit by mortor fire and got shiped home.
