America is not at war. The U.S. Military is at war. America is at the Mall. If you don't stand behind our troops, PLEASE feel free to stand in front of them!
They don't give a shit, they are
giving us the bird and doing what
the hell they want to do.
Other than the vote how many
of us are in a position to do
anything about what they do ?
How many people will march on
Washington ? and Obama will just
pull the shades down and not look.
My gr gr grandfather wrote a book
during the civil war published in
1867 and one passage reads
"If we were to elect honest
hard working men to public
office instead of lawyers and
doctors and such our great nation
would be greater"
That comes from 1867, has anything changed ?
A little rebellion is good medicine for the government
Thomas Jefferson
You're right when you say "other than the vote", because most people can't march on Washington, or much of anyplace else. Most of us have jobs, kids, various obligations that we have to attend to every day. However, the vote is powerful. If people stay as disgusted & turned off as they are now, then in next year's elections they can vote out of office the congressmen & senators who have put the horrible burdens upon us. It's up to all of us to stay attuned to the candidates in next year's elections, & did as deeply as we can into their backgrounds to see who would do the job that we want done in Congress - and in state government - and in local government. It's our country & we can control it, IF we inform ourselves about the candidates, and VOTE - and do all we can to influence others to get off of their asses & vote also. Those of us who have the time & the wherewithal should also get involved in the campaigns to elect deserving candidates.
If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man. (Mark Twain).
Wife has never seen DC, and i haven't since early 67, when i was stationed a pax river, and we drove up to DC on the weekends. Glen Beck is organizing a major ralley in the fall, and this might be the LAST big gathering of any kind. They have outlawed political marches on the mall. This amazes me, i had no idea they had passed that law, and im a news junkie.
This would be a chance for her to see DC, for me to see the wall, and for us to be part of something special. (the whole tea party thing) So bottom line, this might just happen. Sure hoping it does.

greatest gun. Smooth accurate, reliable, very good looking. You will be the talk of Chicago when you show them that S&W .40. Women will swoon for you. And if you buy 2 new at a time you get free ammo for life, plus 2 holsters and a bucket to carry it in.
Looking at the subject line and thinking anyone looking at the comments is going "shit, he geezer just cap't one of his kids boyfriends" ..na, when ever the girls come up,the guys with them (2 son-n-laws, 1 bf) always bring something to shoot, as it's so hard to find a place in Phoenix.
The youngest has a boyfriend who has ccw and bought a 99 one time when we all went up to Prescott together. It's a sweet little pistol.

I own 1000 shares of Smith & Wesson Holding Company. Has sort of lanquished as of late, I bought it at rock bottom gained a nice sum a share and has kinda sat now.
One of the few wise things i've done. Had our retirement in stock, did real REAL good with ebay, had it split on me three times. Then when the market was high I was first diagnosed with the Prostate stuff, so cashed out when the dow toped 11k and put it all in an annuity. It went a bit highter, but were glad we bailed when we did.

Matter of fact this pizzed me off, when our first grandbaby was born, which was about 6 years ago, the oldest daughter (who's not a gun lover) made it clear that she didn't want any weapons ANYWHERE around the baby.. Like i'd start juggling model 10's or something. After all i was a range insturcter for awhile, and wearing my uniform when the baby was born! So i complied. One time shortly after this she actually asks me if I'm carrying (Dad you don't have a gun on you do you?) I lied of course as i always have the little freedom arms on me.. No dear.. So when the youngest starts dating this kid (who i like, he's a good boy) He always carries as he has a CCW, and i can't say anything about it with out blowing his cover. Any body in a house of women knows the scoop on this deal..

And go vote early. There is not anything
more disgusting as to be standing in line
to vote and hear the winners announced LMAO
